How to diet in 3 days

The 3 Day Diet touts quick weight loss, cleansing, lower cholesterol, and more energy.
It's a strict plan that must be followed exactly for three days. If you still want to lose more weight, you're supposed to eat normally for at least four or five days before starting over.

The 3 Day Diet promises up to 10 pounds of weight loss in three days. But most of that weight is likely to be fluid, not fat, so the results aren't likely to last.

What You Can Eat

The 3 Day Diet is very specific about portion size and the foods it includes.
The combination of the suggested foods supposedly creates a unique metabolic reaction that boosts fat burning. But there is no explanation of how that happens or proof that backs up those claims.
The plan also calls for dieters to drink 4 cups of water or no-calorie drinks daily.

You're likely to lose weight on this plan, but it's not likely to last.
The calories are very low, notes Cindy Moore, former director of nutrition therapy at The Cleveland Clinic (which is not associated with the diet).
"The plan yields about 1,000 calories a day, which has the ability to lower metabolism so when you revert back to normal eating, you regain weight even quicker," Moore says.
The diet is also monotonous and doesn't help you build better eating habits for the long run. "What good is it to go back to the old habits that caused the weight gain, without resolving weight issues?" Moore says. "Hands down, the 3 Day Diet is not conducive to changing habits or encouraging a healthier lifestyle, which are fundamental to weight control."
Bottom line: Choose a well-balanced weight loss plan that controls calories every day, includes exercise, and lets you enjoy a wide variety of healthy foods. To lose weight and keep it off, it is simply not enough to eat a prescribed diet for three days without addressing eating habits that cause weight gain.

When you are thinking about this question the answer to it can get very tricky. The main reason for that is you just don't want to hurt your body by not taking in a good number of calories "starving yourself". At the same time you are trying to lose weight so you must try to stop taking in so many calories like you normally would. If you have a trainer or go to a gym you can ask them if they can help you to monitor the amount of calories you should lose in order for you to reach your weight lost goals. Although if you don't I have some simple tips that might help you as try to manage the amount of calories that you put inside of your body.

Yet again I would like to tell you to slowly cut down on the number of calories that you decide to eat everyday. If you just go and cut the amount of calories down in a certain surge then you might experience negative effects on your body. Another thing is that your focus on calories is important but it is not as important as the foods you take in. The best way for you to monitor the calories that you take in is to eat healthier foods. That will automatically decrease amount of calories that you eat on a daily basis.

If you decide to go from a junk food that has a lot of calories in it to a one that has a little less calories in them then your really are not doing that much in helping your body to lose weight. Even though you might have reduce the number of calories that you take in you still is slowing down your digestion and not reducing your hunger causing you to be tempted to put more calories inside of your body do to hunger. What I'm saying in this article is that you shouldn't think to hard about how many calories that you put inside your body think about what foods you are eating and how they can help as you lose weight.

It’s one thing to treat yourself; it’s another to blow all of your calories on one meal. While the number of calories you should consume may be a little higher or lower (calculate the calories you need), it’s safe to say that the following 11 ridiculously high calorie foods are bad news for your waistline and overall health. These unhealthy entrees come close to or exceed your daily recommended allowance of calories, saturated fat, sodium—or all of the above.
